It was 93 degrees on Tuesday, when I wore this outfit. H-O-T! I didn't wear much makeup and I literally just threw this dress on, grabbed a cardi and slipped on the flats. As I said before, this will most likely be my hot-days-in-the-summer work uniform: dress, cardi and flats. Easy!
This dress on its own {with one shoulder} isn't suitable for work, but with the cardi, I got away with it. Heels would have been a better choice, but when it gets hot, I get BOTHERED and for some reason, heels just seemed to be too much of a fuss.
I also forgot that getting Cory to take outfit pics in the heat is a bit of a challenge, LOL! ... I may or may not have bribed him to take these he and literally click-click-clicked - took all of 5 minutes for the shots. He is becoming quite the paparazzi these days. :)

Hi Lexy, cute dress...Its something how different trends come and go..I have a one shoulder dress and gladiator platform sandal heels and they are at least 8 yrs old and no one would know cause its back in style....Sorry rambling but you look great as always..I absolutely LOVE wearing dresses they make it so easy to look good...with very little prep.. And chile! I am straight up in my closet right now evaluating dresses and making a list of shoes to buy THIS WEEKEND so I can start Monday off proper.
I feel the same way about this crazy concrete heat and the need for a series of dresses and skirts ... and flats, but I'm almost always in flats (unless I see some cute wedges!).
