Happy Sunday!
I am interrupting the Fall Fashion Trends Mini-Series to quickly share an outfit that I wore last night to my cousin's wedding rehearsal dinner. It was a wonderful family event on a beautiful Fall evening so I thought this colorful and autumnal scarf from H&M was the perfect thing to pop on.
I'm always playing around with different ways to tie a scarf {as I am building quite the collection!} and this look may be one of faves. :)
I am also loving my fresh hair. I did it late Friday night and was up in the wee hours of the morning trimming, curling and then rolling. I then ran errands all day yesterday tightly wrapped and turbaned so that curls had plenty of time to set. I love how soft and pretty they are. A good hair day indeed. Why can't they all be like this?
Off to finish my Sunday cleaning and to get dolled up for the wedding tonight, can't wait to share my dress with you; a vintage Albert Nipon - it is so stunningly AMAZING. So excited!!!
xoxo, thanks for reading!
OMG! Your hair is fabulous!!!!! I'm loving those curls. Your outfit is cute.Looks like you're holding on to Summer up there. Good Job!!!

That scarf is beautiful! I always buy scarves, and never know what to do with them, so I currently have a rather sizable box full of scarves sitting in the back of my closet. I should really start playing around with them. Perhaps I'll start with this style!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks amazing, too! I desperately wish I could get curls like that. Seattle is so humid that I just can't get my hair to hold any curl at all, though.

Lexy I'm loving the floral scarf and paired with the turquoise cardigan..pretty!! I also love you freshly styled hair GORGEOUS as always!!
ReplyDeleteYou look great...I love the colors and how you wore the scarf...As for the hair, you did an excellent job...the curls set very nicely...I have to set my hair on those bendable long rollers and lotta body setting serum then pin curl them so they stay later in the day so I know the effort it can take to try to keep those curls...ugh..its worth it tho..have a good one!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I want to try the flexi-rods! Lotta body is also great. It does take a lot to keep the curls, so a process is definitely needed! They had fallen by the end of the night though, but were still pretty. Have a great week, Mrs. Jay! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Tye! :)

ReplyDeleteyay, thanks Carmen! And love Roni from Style and Poise, she finds the best thrifted goodies too! thank you Kish!
ReplyDeleteThe brand is Divine and it's the virgin Remi. LOVE it, highly recommend.
thanks Leysa!! :) I use the plain old sponge rollers (the JUMBO pink ones.) I wrap them tight, spritz on a teeeeeeeny bit of Elasta QP design silk and a teeeeny bit of liquid mousse. then wrap tight. I let them stay in overnight and all day, since I know I wanted a tighter curl that would last. :)
ReplyDeleteI am LOVING that scarf! You always put the best colors together!
ReplyDeleteI love your hair - I'm glad you kind of said how you did it in a previous comment, I might have to try it out! And I've never seen someone do that with a scarf before, I love it! Definitely going to have to try it out!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love scarves! They are a simple way to jazz up any outfit! I own about 100 of them!! Wearing them belted is one of my favorite things to do. I love this look on you and your hair is just sick! I can't take it! I want/need it!! Kiah
