Here is my version of the following trend for fall fashion:
retro / pumps / tweed / neat skirts / piping on jackets / tights / structured bags / knee length skirts / rounded collars / elbow length gloves / elbow length tops / collarless jackets / bright A-line coat / sensible heels / sweater dress / houndstooth / bright fitted pencil skirt / polka dots / over sized sunglasses / shift dress /
{Black Ponte Knit Pants ~ Style & Co, via Macy's / Blue and White Blazer ~ Vintage, Thrifted / White T Shirt ~ Merona, via Target / Black Patent Pumps ~ Nine West / Black and White Polka Dot Scarf ~ Thrifted / Black Leather Handbag with Gold Hardware ~ Daisy Boutique}
I found this gem of a retro blazer in the thrift store and I am convinced that this was a jacket for someone's uniform in the 60's. The fit is a little snug, but you guys know that I love a tight form-fitting blazer. :)
I also decided to rock this amazing black handbag with the stark gold hardware. Not too much of a structured bag {which would have probably worked better with this outfit} but I love it anyway. It's the perfect black bag to wear to work, especially now since I have officially retired my beloved LV Damier Azur Noe bucket bag until the spring.
I felt a bit airline stewardess at work today, especially since I was on the go all day and really really busy. And I liked it, lol. I kept the accessories to a minimum, only wearing a pair of simple gold hoops and I have to say there is something really refreshing about not piling on tons of bracelets. Simple and MOD. I love this trend! How will you be wearing it this season?
xoxo, thanks for reading!

ReplyDeleteAs Usual. I <3 this look. I always look at fashion magazines and say "I cant walk around everyday like that!!" But you effortlessly made this look your own, and as always changed mind about fashion. I hope you will continue to be an inspiration to others:)
