{Denim Leggings ~ ASOS / White Tank ~ Hanes {Cory's} / Watermelon Pink Cardigan ~ Victoria's Secret / Green Suede Brogues {I added an ivory satin ribbon in place of the laces} ~ ASOS / Ombre Leopard Scarf ~ H&M / Cognac Leather Bucket Bag ~ Rachel Zoe for QVC / Gold Robot Necklace and Ring ~ Smak Parlour Boutique / Crystal Bracelet ~ KJL / Turquoise Beaded Bracelets and Crystal Earrings ~ H&M}
I wore this casual outfit yesterday to run errands and then for a date night with Cory: dinner and a movie. We went and saw Kevin Hart: Laugh At My Pain {which was HILARIOUS!!} and I was carded! :) I think it was the pulled-up hair. The girls at the ticket counter could not believe I was the mother of an almost-12-year-old. It was cute!
I am in love with these leggings and although I am bottom-heavy with more than enough curves to fill these babies out, I felt amazingly comfortable and fabulous. :) I would be happy wearing leggings everyday, they can be dressed up {seen here with platform heels} or dressed down.
Leggings in my fall wardrobe are absolutely essential. Can't wait to tuck these into a pair of boots.
xoxo, thanks for reading, hope you had a great weekend!
I love this 'fit!! The green brogues, and RZ bag are so cute together :)

Those shoes are absolutely adorable. LOVE the idea of swapping out laces for ivory ribbon. I may have to give that a try!

ReplyDeletethanks Janelle!
ReplyDeleteCool shoes!
ReplyDeleteLove the oxfords and you're so cute isn't it great being carded! I picked up a similar from old navy, love yours too!
ReplyDeleteI WANT...NEED...Those shoes!! People think I am my age either, the place I am doing my internship at, I had to show the girls there my ID, because they didn't believe I was 30. I guess when were 60 its truly going to pay off!!
ReplyDeleteI really like your blog, I follow about three blogs thus far in regards to fashion and each of you has similar taste in clothing BUT you are all so different in how you rock your clothing, which is why I absolutely love! Three different perspectives on how to rock something. Another reason I like your blog is because you don't dress to look younger, realizing that you are a wife and a mother, and still very young in your very early 30s (which I am close to). You still let it be known that mothers/wives/and folks in their 30s or close to 30 can still be fabolous!
ReplyDeleteI love all the outfits you post.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love those shoes even though they aren't something I'd pick out on my own.
I haven't really gotten into the whole leggings thing but checking out your blog and a few others, I think I'm ready to give them a try. It would certainly help me save a bit considering leggings, in some cases, are cheaper than buying a new pair of pants.
you do look like a youngin'! lol love the satin ribbon with the brogues. nice mix of masculine & feminine.
ReplyDeletehehe! Thanks Rita! :) and I nice way to describe it - masculine and feminine, I love playing on both!
ReplyDeletethank you! :) I would definitely say yes to leggings! When you wear them with the right top and shoes, they can go from basic to fab!
ReplyDeletethanks girl! That means so much! I am so proud of my age and status, I try hard to embrace it correctly and not try and look like a teen-bopper, that is not who I am! The 30's have been the best years of my life so far! :)
ReplyDeletethanks Erica! I can so see you in a cute pair of brogues! Asos has a hot pink pair that I know you would love {and that I am dying to get, lol}
ReplyDeletethanks Inez! and yes girl, had me up in the movies blushing! LOL
ReplyDeletethanks Sing!
