{Navy Floral Dress ~ Lola P, via Nordstrom Rack, Get it here! / Pink Lightweight Cotton Oxford Shirt ~ Newport News / Ivory Stretch Belt ~ Thrifted / Ivory Platforms ~ Urban Originals / Navy Lucite and Pink Enamel Bangles ~ Thrifted / Handbag ~ LV Azur Damier Noe Bucket}
This is definitely one of those outfits that looks better in person; these pictures are doing this no justice. Cory even declared that this was the best look so far. :)
These platforms are not practical to walk around in; I of course packed flats in this amazing and HUGE bucket bag, to switch into at work. I also tossed the platforms in there to run to the train. I LOVE this bag. Obviously, since I can't stop wearing it. LOL!
By the time I took these pictures, I had been waiting for the train from work, which was 40 minutes late, and was in such a bad mood. I was also rushing to a meeting right after shooting these, so Cory literally click-click-clicked.
I am really busy planning a few events, I feel like the days are just way too short.
... speaking of, I just made the decision to make Friday the last day of the challenge for me, instead of Sunday - like I had originally wanted to. I have a super casual, hands-on event to attend on Saturday and this dress will not work. Sooooo, Friday's outfit will be the last, and I have a feeling it will be my favorite.
Hey, a work WEEK stll counts as a week, right? ;)
P.S. - I really have NO clue how I am going to rock this dress tomorrow. I hope I come up with something soon, I am honestly at a loss. ... which may have something to it being 12:38 am. We will see.
xoxo, thanks for reading!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
What if you turned the dress into a a skirt?Im 6'1 and find it hard to find maxi dress or dresses that come to a comfortable length on me without looking like a night shirt lol.So I tuck in the sleeves and bust,put on a chunky belt, and wear my "dresses" as skirts ..lol
Cannot wait to see tomorrow!
Im a new follower by the way!Glad I found you!

Haha, great minds indeed!Your accessories are, as always on point - you must have closet with just baubles and belts alone - I love it!
ReplyDeleteThis dress really has a ton of great colors to play off and you are killing it!
Lexy, that color pink is soooo beautiful on you!! I have realized that I have little to no navy in my wardrobe (should have picked another color dress lol) but you make me want to run out and snatch up a bunch of navy and mix it with bright colors!!
