We celebrated my husband's birthday and Valentine's Day this weekend with a quick twenty-four hour getaway.  We had fancy dinner reservations so I decided to wear this fabulous pencil dress.  Of course it was freezing so I added tights and a blazer.  I packed booties to rock with it but the pumps felt right when I tried them on. :) I can't wait to rock this dress in the warmer months with strappy sandals!

Workwear: Dress + Leggings + Blazer

I suppose wearing leggings in the office is ok if they are worn under a dress.  ...and with a blazer.  ...and fancy flats.  These are the things I tell myself to be ok with wearing whatever I want to the office. hehehe!  I absolutely love this dress!  I feel like it's a mix of hard in soft with the bright coral roses against black.  I also wore it for a holiday work party {with appropriate tights and boots}.  It's gotten a little big since I purchased it and I am not complaining! 

 

My morning breakfast fruit smoothies are aiding in the slimming of my waistline and I couldn't be happier.  If you follow me on Instagram {@fancylexy} you have seen my raving.  I will be doing a full post on making delicious and easy smoothies for healthy breakfasts soon so stay tuned if you'd like.  I am still sipping on this morning's concoction and it's pretty amazing.
