Working the Stripes

August 13, 2011

{Black and White Striped Skirt ~ Target {is actually this tunic/dress, pulled down with the sleeves wrapped around my waist / Denim-esque Button-up ~ NY & Co / Pink Strappy Sandals ~ Urban Original / Pink Cross body Leopard Bag ~ Mulberry for Target / Nails ~ OPI's "You're a Pisa Work"}

Another example of 'making it work': this "skirt" is actually a dress {that fits more like a tunic on me} that I picked up at Target to wear with leggings and boots in the fall.

I decided to wear it as a skirt yesterday for a super casual Friday look and actually I loved how it turned out.

I hope you are having a fantastic weekend!  I am off to do some school uniform shopping for my kiddies. Hooray for back-to-school in a few weeks. 6th and 3rd grade, here we come! :)

xoxo, thanks for reading!

  12. I was going to get that dress, tried it on and loved it, but for some reason put it back. When I came back the next day they didn't have my size. Now, I am thinking I might have to order it online, because i love the way you worked it!
