Remember this {$10} sweater?  The one that instantly enhances my mood when I slip into it?

...also worn in this post? Well, thanks to reading a tip on one of my Top 3 favorite blogs, loveMaegan, I decided to slit it down the middle, remove the cowl collar and turn it into a cardigan. Best idea ever.  Why this works: the threads don't fray and the cut line is pretty perfect.

This will definitely be worn all spring and some of summer {indoors when the AC is blasting}. I have a black one too.  Yep, already done. ;)

{Trousers ~ Lane Bryant / Peacock Tank ~ Torrid / Mustard Sweater-Turned-Cardigan ~ "Caren Sport" from Rainbow / Black Patent Pumps ~ Nine West {these are definitely a favorite for work, I feel so pulled together with these on} / Black Leather Handbag ~ Cole Haan / Cyrstal Bracelets ~ KJL and  Chamak by Priya Kkar / Gold Stretch Belt ~ Vintage/Thrifted}

I am seriously considering slitting every sweater that I own, creating a new collection of cardigans.

xoxo, thanks for reading!

P.S. - I just set a Beautyfash goal to post15 times in March... wish me luck! :)

  15. I totally love your blog but mostly your style. You make it all look too easy, like its second nature. Its amazing that I can relate with your posts and outfits yet we live worlds apart (I am in East Africa)
