A Few Of My Favorite Things!

October 4, 2010

{My new fabulous and the most comfortable suede wedge boots.  I picked these up at a small boutique in Cherry Hill, NJ this weekend while on an all-day shopping adventure with my sister.  They were the "score of the day" for sure!}

{I got an email and a comment on my last post about this nail polish. It's Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear Hard as Nails line.  I love it, It lasts a really long time!  This electric blue is called "Blue It".}

{Now that the weather is getting cooler, I just love relaxing in a REALLY HOT bubble bath before bed, reading or listening to my iPod.  But unfortunately, the hot water really dries out my skin.  I love Nivea's "Touch of Harmony" Cream Oil Body Wash (which smells HEAVENLY) and Essentially Enriched Daily Lotion - they really help to keep me moisturized all day.  I also love to use baby oil all over, immediately following my bath. Talk about being "as soft as a baby's bottom"! :)}

Does your skin get dry in the cooler months like mine?  What are your moisturizing secrets? Do Tell!

  2. I use baby oil as well, but during the day I have to use Aveeno unscented lotion. It's the only lotion that lasts all day for me and doesn't interfere with my perfume.

  3. Oh yes, I definitely get dry skin. All year round actually. I usually rub vaseline and Lubriderm together to get intense moisture. I've recently tried Aveeno and loved it so I might have to switch to that.
    Love the booties btw.

  6. Dryness is an issue for me in the winter. One of my tips is to apply your moisturizer to damp skin while the pores are still open to help seal in the moisture.
    My favorites are Cocoa Butter and Grapeseed oil.

  10. I use Palmer's cocoa butter on special spots knees elbows and where there are stretch marks (this works for fading) then I spray on baby, bath or pheromone oil while my skin is damn and slather on creamy lotions like Jergen's or Oil of Olay... I try to do this in the summer but usually get to sweatin like a... well u know how it goes.

  11. Fast forward to modern day and thanks in large part to a bunch of sheiks in the Middle East, auto makers have developed a new breed of SUV; the crossover.

    Although this isn't a necessary factor, it can offer you peace of mind moving forward with a vehicle.
    However, it's probably the biggest faux pas to an otherwise appealing package.
