Navy and Natural

May 18, 2011

{Trousers ~ INC, via Macy's / Navy Silk Top ~ Thrifted {August Silk} {last seen here 2 weekends ago} / Stretch Belt ~ Fossil / Natural and Cognac Heels ~ Mossimo, via Target / Gold Dangle Earrings ~ Forever21 / Wooden Bangles ~ Thrifted / LV Damier Azur Noe Bucket Handbag}

So the weather this week has been dreadful; muggy and raining on and off.  All day long.  It actually started drizzling when Cory and I were taking these outfit pics tonight, I was under this HUGE tree, so I didn't get that wet.  My hair, however hasn't been able to hold a curl all week.  I take about 15-20 minutes in the morning using the curling irons, creating the most beautiful curls, only to have them fall as soon as I hit the door to leave for work.  Marvelous!

I guess this is a precursor to the summer, which is why I plan to rock shorter hair very soon.

P.S. - I have been getting emails and comments around my make-up - I should have a new beauty products post up this weekend. :)  I have been using more of my favorite bronzer lately and a few new lipgloss combinations; I'll tell you all about it!

xoxo, thanks for reading!

  7. love the whole head to toe!!!!!!! Bangles are lovely!!! For your curls to hold mousse it down the night before and the next day hairspray lightly then curl and spray again to set. Let me know if it works.

  11. Love the outfit! I too hate this weather, but the weekend will be MARVELOUS! I can't wait! Please, tell my about the hair. I am newly in LOVE with my weave. I have shoulder length, but very thin hair. Recently, I have been experimenting with a few well placed tracks to add fullness. Any suggestions for brands of hair that work best?
