It's LOVE.

I love coming home to a package at the door.  Shopping at the mall or department stores are always fabulous, but there is something about getting a package in the mail. Ripping the box open, immediately inspecting each piece and trying everything on... I adore it!  Luckily, I have had tremendous luck with ordering clothes (mostly tops) online. I have a really good eye with fabrications and knowing if something will fit and what size I need to order. I am, by sizing standards, a size 14-16.  BUT I have ordered things in any size from a small (tops) up to a 1X! It’s all about if something stretches, or is supposed to have an over sized loose look.  The number on the tag does not matter at all.  It's all about MAKING IT WORK. I can' wait to rock this dress.  and this sweatshirt.  Tried them on and am in love.

I have found that I have to try jeans and pants on before I buy them. Unless I already own them and know how they fit and what size I need. Jeans can be tricky, depending on the brand, how much stretch they have, the rise/cut etc.

A couple of weeks ago, ASOS was having their semi-annual sale with prices reduced up to 70% off regular prices.  I LOVE this site.  I find the prices to be pretty reasonable, for fabulous, well made, not-your-average-at-the-mall-finds.  I carefully scoped the entire clearance section, seeing what tops / dresses / jackets I HAD to have, since the prices were so amazing. Included in what I snagged, was this fabulous 50% off, asymmetrical tie-dyed top.  I ordered it in a size {UK} 14 (which is allegedly a US 10).  It is very generously cut and the size is perfect!  This top will definitely work with leggings, which is always a good thing, since I am obsessed with leggings.

After trying on my goodies, checking homework, doing the dinner dishes, I rounded the troops (my hubby, 10 year old and 7 year old) and we went for a walk. It was kind of chilly, but not too cold. I live in a beautiful neighborhood and this is the perfect time of year to head out for a nice walk.  Literally watching the flowers bloom as the days go on.  It makes you feel good.  I love nights like these where we can find time and walk as a family. Quality time and calories burned. LOVE.
